Hey everyone! 

So we have started sending out the Voidwalker Editions as some of you may have seen. These should all start rolling out now and throughout next week. After that there will be some batches going out week by week till completion. 

There has been some funkiness with the first batch and repeating tracking numbers sent. We were told it was an anomaly as of now and sorry about the inconvenience! 

Lastly, we are sorry but this still does not include international shipments. We are awaiting word from the fulfillment company of when we can get the remaining pieces to them and they can start shipping. Hopefully that is soon! 

Thanks everyone! Here comes the physical goodies! No more astral projections!

A note on timelines during the pandemic

Well everyone EF here. 

We are sooooooo close.... so close.... but sadly my state (Idaho) has gone into a 21 day lockdown and the last bits in pieces we are not able to pick up till after this is over.  

So with a heavy ooof we type this. But fear not its all right there and when the lockdown lets up we can get what remains and ship away.  As more info becomes available we will keep everyone informed.

If you reached out for address changes, please note that we DO have them even if we havent confirmed. And once again please send the address change to [email protected] and not here.

Update for UVG and other EF publications

So everyone knows that we are in a bit of a pickle. First and foremost each and every one of you take care of you and yours first. We can get wrapped up in a lot of things when we dance in our little echo chambers but this is a real deal and be safe and considerate. Remember your friends, family and fellow humans struggling right now.

So we have some good and bad news regarding a few of our projects and timelines. We have been working overtime (a lot) to try and get these titles and all the elements together so we can ship but unfortunately a few are going to feel the effects.

Light Witch- The book doesn’t have any issues and is still arriving at the end of this month barring any unforeseen closures. The real issue is if we are going to get the posters and book marks in time as the printer appears to be overwhelmed and a part of the crisis. We will stay in contact and hopefully this arrives in time. If it doesn’t we will figure out any further delay.

UVG- Should not see any further delays domestically, all the parts should be finished next week and then hopefully after quality the week after it ships.

Seekers: The books are on the way, but our printer in California has ceased a bit of printing to essentials and we are still awaiting the players guide. I am awaiting confirmation if we are going to see any further delay.

Cobwebs-This might see the longest delay since numerous parts (many which have been paid for) are coming from overseas. When I get a better idea I will post a proper update. Stay Tuned

Necrotic Gnome-As of now, we have not set up a time for it but by some sort of miracle right now we are looking at these shipping in a couple weeks unaffected. A pre order will start next week for the items, most likely Friday.

Rapid Fire Records- We have seen a bit of slowdown with production but all these new releases are coming as of now.

The million other things in dev. We have a lot of active projects and are fulfilling quite a few as well. Most of these have been slow going but are not seeing any sort of slowdown.

International shipping. This is going to see the most disruption at the moment. Be prepared for long delays and waits. So far its just been slower, but no restrictions. But the situation is dynamic and can change by day so please let us know if you would like us to hold or ship each order. WE WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL YOU CONFIRM THIS. This is just to ensure that you get your order in the best fashion.

Games in the Time of Virus

Dear Backers,

Luka here. I was expecting to post a metal yoga video from a rock surrounded by the Adriatic Sea, then proceed to announce how we have started shipping. Alas, the world waits for no man and now covid-19 is upon us and I am watching from the foothills as Italy locks down the Veneto and Lombardia, not far from my house in Slovenia. It's scary. So, first a public service announcement.

We are facing a serious and dangerous epidemic. We will be tested. Our public health systems will be tested. Our economies will be tested. We will have to make sacrifices to beat this virus. Italy, right across the border from me here (I'm in Slovenia right now, visiting my mother) has just gone into total lockdown until April 3. I'll see what happens in Slovenia, but for now we're safe in my little mountain town.

It's up to all of us to be responsible and do our part to help slow down and if possible stop covid-19 outbreaks as they happen. I'm not a doctor, so follow the advice of your local public health authorities and or the WHO first and foremost. Reach out to friends online. Talk. We will all be lonely and anxious and scared in the next months, but we will be fighting this virus together.

Now the UVG Update

Last week Mister Exalted drove out to test the final proofs of the screen and the map and the postcards. Everything was excellent, except the postcards. This was my fault. I didn't expand the curves on the slogans on the postcards and they came out all weird.

Let this be a lesson, fellow designers: don't be like me. Expand your curves.

Still, silver lining: screen and map are looking good, and printing out the postcards is the fastest part of everything. If all goes well, packing and shipping to US backers should begin this week or the next. However, because of coronavirus disruptions to international logistics, we can't give a firm date on when we start shipping to overseas backers yet.

Finally, six months late, we are about to ship. This has been an experience in Hofstadter's Law. We really appreciate your continued patience (and pour ashes upon our heads in culpa, culpa). Still, we are also adding bookmarks into the bundle, so there is that ... a small thank you.

Happy Birthday Heavy Metal & Updates from EF

So as many of you have seen from Luka's wordsmithing, we are indeed close to the end. I wanted to give an update from us (EF) since normally you hear from Luka. This has been a long, often harrowing, journey that we are truly thankful all of you have taken with us. As I sit here in contemplation listening to Black Sabbath's self titled record (Happy Birthday Heavy Metal) I deceived to give a more "fluff" infused update for you all. 

What seems like ages ago (but really what is time? ) Luka sent an email that changed our astral sojourn into a full blown cosmic adventure on the table top RPG highways.  It was curious enough. Simply titled "Who the Hell are you guys?"  

 We were still a fairly fledgling company. Most knew us as having all the weird titles and we were the guys who carried Tuesday Knight Games Mothership in print (this was right before they BLEW UP).  I knew Luka from the G+ days. A superstar, he was the celebrity he always claims he isn't. Fanboyish sure... but I was a fan, and I was giddy with the thought of him coming to us. I also knew what he was capable of and how important it was to have his work in print. We organized a phone call with him and we have been friends ever since. (The best part of this Kickstarter)

After that we lived laughed loved and endured setbacks, painful cessation, internet phone call fubars, and created something truly magical. Look at it: 

I get asked quite a bit about what magic is (especially with what we curate in our storefront) and let me tell you that is real magic. Manifesting something something like this, for all of you. There is a grace in creation that ignites the human spirit. We don't have the same energy or time Luka put into this, but we toiled many days (and nights) and upon opening those cartons was nothing short of exaltation. The agony of worry alleviated.

We cannot wait for you all to have this in your hands and our so grateful for what you have done in this process.  You have made it possible. All this possible, this shift and change possible. Do you feel it? 

So thank you Luka, thank you fans, thank you Moonrat, thank you Saker. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

So sentimental chatter aside lets talk about the FAQs: 

The books are here and we are going to be doing quality checks first. The Funeral Editions seem perfect and pass the first go. We will move onto the standard covers here shortly. Everything else (maps and screens) is en route or close to en route. 

 Shipping: We expect an early to mid March release barring any lengthy time for maps and/or screens.  For international customers expect it to be a bit later, possibly April. The books arrived at the international distro.... *checks email* OH NOW. But we still gotta ship all the other goodies out there as well.  

Books for Retail: We have NO timeline for  release of the remaining books, if any, into the wild. I just want people to have the right expectations here. Our commitment is to our backers, first and last. We of course have some that will be held back for lost or damage or whatever but I can't say these are going to be up for grabs. I know this is slightly disappointing for those that missed out and we are not ruling out extras... BUT know its possible there will be zero. 

We made a pact with the backers here, they come first.
